Watford are second from bottom (19th) and Manchester City are 17^th. Pearce is not interested because he never wants to leave his “beloved” City. 

The reason why Pearce wanted to leave was because Manchester City lost one of their games against Wigan. A crushing 4-0 defeat made Pearce even keener to leave. 

Let’s see how he gets on against Chelsea. With City 17^th and Chelsea 2^nd, Manchester City are searching for a win against the premiership champions.  City hasn’t beaten Chelsea since the 2004-05 season. Chelsea are looking to ruin Pearce’s run of play by beating City yet again.
