Hi my name is Alisha and I am 11 years old. This is my second year of doing newsday and I am very excited because this year I am editor! My favourite hobby is football and I am in the school football team. I have a baby cousine called Shaan who I really love. My other favourite hobby is art, which after English is my favourite subject at school.

Abigail B-A is 10 years old, and currently in 6GA at Two Mile Ash school. She has a 7 year old brother who attends the same first school as she did, Ashbrook. Her mum works at Homebase, and her dad is a cabinet maker. She also has a cute rabbit called Peter. Her hobbies include: swimming, art, P.E. and netball. She is currently in the high 5 netball squad.

Adam was born on the 4^th July 1996 and is currently in Year 6 in Two Mile Ash School. He enjoys playing sports like swimming, football and hockey. Also he is captain for a football team called Brook End Colts Panthers under 11, in which he plays in defence. All his “grades” are above level 5 and two are level 5a. His favourite lesson is I.C.T because he likes all the technology involved and you can practically do anything using it. Next year he is moving from his hometown to Preston permanently. He will miss Milton Keynes but he should have a great time in Preston.         

Alex Bolam is a 10 year old Year 6 student in TMA primary school and he has many friends both in and out of school. These include Joe -Dr Who fanatic, Ryan, overall good friend and George -my best friend. Alex enjoys ICT, Science-chemistry, not boring other stuff-and swimming.Alex’s mum is a kind, caring and loving person who has always been there for him, by the same token, so is his dad. His friends often say he knows everything, but of course, this is not true, he says he knows a tiny fraction of what there is to know in the universe.  As being tall runs in his dad’s family, Alex is very tall for his age, but then so are his friends, each around 1.6mtrs high. Alex’s mum is very good at cooking, and can cook a variety of interesting meals, that are delicious both to the eye and the tastebuds.  But his mum is not the only one who can cook, both his dad and himself are self acclaimed cooks in their own right.

Hey! My name is Bryony H and I am 10 years old. I am in Year 6 and in class 6LS. I have a brilliant teacher and my best friends are Ayesha M, Adele E, Amber B, Joeyta D, Alanna B and loads more. I really love English and DT and I absolutely hate Maths and Geography! My recent big achievement is passing my 11+ and getting into The Royal Latin Grammar School. I have a big love of being around with friends, shopping, being with family, chocolate and I love all animals. I have loads of pets and a dog called Snowy. I am looking forward to reporting and being the journalist of Newsday 07!

Elizabeth was born on the 7^th  May 1997.From a young age she has always enjoyed dancing, piano, clarinet, swimming, and her most recent club Brownies.She thoroughly enjoys school and when she’s older she wants to become a teacher. She lives with her Mum and sister and normally her Dad but he is fighting in Iraq and will not be back for a little while. She has a ginger and white cat, a Colly dog, a Whesty, a grey hamster and a black and white rabbit. As a Christian she believes that the world can be improved in lots of different ways but that the most important way to improve it world is to stop cutting down the rainforest. Her best friend is a new girl called Sunny who was also born in May 1997 but she was born on the 12.

Emmeline- I am half Belgium half English and have a sister, younger. I like adventurous holydays (although I have not had any). My hobbies are reading, netball, sewing, playing guitar, basketball, riding my bike, I also like bird watching, walking in woods, building, drawing, helping people and singing. I participated in the Milton Keynes Music Festival unfortunately we didn’t win. I have also wanted to be a writer and have tried writing things unfortunately I have never finished the first chapter. I have a gift with younger children and I have a strange thing with music. I couldn’t wait to start Newsday and don’t care if we don’t come first because the experience could help me with writing and getting to the next chapter of a book (maybe even finishing it!)

I hope that Newsday will be successful.

Georgia H is currently 11 years old and in Year 6 and enjoys shopping, netball, badminton and goes swimming twice a week.  She also enjoys relaxing in front of the TV, playing on the computer or just reading a good book.  She has a 14 year old sister who goes to school in Buckingham. She goes to Two Mile Ash School and her favourite lessons are English, Science, History and PE. She lives in a small village called Haversham, on the edge of Milton Keynes.  

Jack L was born on the 3^rd December 1995 in Milton Keynes and is in Year 6. Jack enjoys playing Rugby and has been playing for five years. He also enjoys playing Badminton which he has been playing for two years. Jack supports Arsenal FC but has never been to one of their games. Jack also supports his local team MK Dons and has been to one of their games. 

He also loves relaxing in front of the telly and especially loves playing on his computer and X box. His favourite games are Rugby and Football games because he can’t find any Badminton games.

As you can probably see Jack is a very sporty person that’s because Jack’s favourite subject at school is P.E.     

Joe L is a big fan of ice hockey and football. He supports Chelsea and West Ham football clubs. His favourite ice hockey team is Mk Lightning. He was born on April 28^th 1997. He is 9 ½ years old. He likes school and his favourite lessons are Maths and ICT.He is in Year 5.

Joeyta was born in Milton Keynes on 19^TH July 1996. Her Hobbies include art, singing, writing and going on the computer. She has a mother, father, sister, two grandmas and one grandpa.  

She is obsessed with animals, and she loves D.T. She is recently acting as a journalist, writing for the Newsday competition. She hopes to be a writer when she grows up, and she is determined to get there. Although she was born in the United Kingdom, most of her family were born in India. 

She passed the 11 plus, and is looking forward to going to the Royal Latin! She is also currently working in the school production ‘Oliver!’ as Fagin! She has a number of uncles, aunties, and cousins too. She is also obsessed with animals…especially foxes!

My name is Katie. I am in Year 5 and my favourite subject is English. I love the band McFly and my favourite TV shows are W.I.T.C.H., The suite life of Zack and Cody, Hannah Montana and That’s so Raven. When I grow up I would like to be a journalist, author or artist. I was born on 8^th September 1996 in Milton Keynes. I love sleepovers! My best friends are Natalie, Emma, Rubiya, Joanna, Jessie and Anannya. I have lovely parents and a nice little sister called Amy. I have blonde hair, blue eyes and my skin colour is white.

Ryan M was born on the 25^th of September 1995 on his great grandmother’s birthday! He loves dogs, art and mostly acting and singing. His hobbies are dog walking and acting! He is in Year 6 and is recently rehearsing for the schools production of Oliver Twist in which he plays Oliver! He thinks school is ok and he especially likes English!
