£289 Million American Takeover
The
American businessmen Thomas O Hicks and George Gillet Jr. have borrowed
£298m from the Royal Bank of Scotland to take full control over
Liverpool FC. The debt is not going to be paid by the club, but people
close to the deal believe that it would probably be paid by interest.

Rumours have been floating around Chelsea football club fans, that if
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho goes to manage Spanish giants Real Madrid in
the summer, he will take England hero Frank Lampard with him.

Manchester City football club manager Stuart Pearce has been set to stay
at Manchester City and not become boss of the England under 21’s team.
